7 Principles of Prayer

1. CONFESS
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy” (Prov. 28:13).

2. THANK
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Phil. 4:6).

3. SUPPLICATE
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Eph. 6:18).

4. PERSEVERE
“…Being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Eph. 6:18).

5. PERSIST
“I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs” (Luke 11:8).

6. WAIT
“For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him” (Isaiah 64:4).

7. SUBMIT
“…Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10).
